Presidents Day (homeschool activities)

This was just a pic of the kids playing really nicely together. Maliyah gets really protective of her doll house so it was great to see them playing with it together so nicely!



ON Presidents day the kids made little log cabin houses with popsicle sticks. They could add paper, color around it...whatever they wanted. Kyson and Jayden were done pretty quick. Maliyah sat completing hers forever, and ever, and ever! Really that girl can create and color all day long!

And of course Maliyah took so long she wasn't done when I pulled the camera out. I also found online a presidents day word book. It had words for the kids to practice writing and for us to talk about what they meant. Not quite as fun or creative as last Presidents day activities...but I was just glad that we still pulled it off. Mondays are busy days for me!
