Horse riding Lessons

Last week Maliyah started her first Riding Lessons! We are driving up to Sprague River for it, about a 50 minute drive, but the lessons are free from a friend we met through our preschool group. Maliyah has been in heaven knowing she is getting to ride a horse regularly and finally do what she has wanted to do for years!

The family has a great property with plenty for the other kids to do while we are there.



 



Kyson got a turn riding on the horse, but has been begging to do lessons as well. Our rule is the kids can't choose extra activities until they learn how to swim...and kyson cannot swim. When I told him this he replied firmly "I can do it! I can learn to swim by myself!" I'm praying this is fainlly the thing that motivates him to learn!



Poor Maliyah's allergies were awful that day. Even though it was overcast, her eyes were so sensitive to the light she could barely look up. We finally had to find a hat for her to wear.
