Week update 11-14 through 11-21-10

I'm being lazy again and just posting everything in one post. My internet has been slow and I have been working on pictures for a friend, so I'm just running out of time and steam!

First picture is Maliyah enjoying her new talent. Crochet! She sat for two hours working on this chain (rope). It ended up over 6 ft long. I told her once she has it perfect I'll teach her what to do next!

Savannah trying to put together a puzzle. She had never really done that before so although it's not much to you...I thought it was pretty cute and smart!

What nobody ever see's. Savannah's hair after a bath. It's getting a little long...I need to decide to either grow it, or cut bangs....I can't decide!

We celebrated Jaydens birthday on Monday night, but Sunday was his actual birthday so we let him open his present from Grandma Duck.

All four kids spent over an hour playing with the stuff she sent. And they even shared really well!

Monday night we had a small party for him. This was supposed to the be year we start doing no friend parties every other year...but I felt guilty that Maliyah and Ky had had friend parties up to this point....so we decided to invite one friends family over for dinner and birthday!

My friend made this adorable hat for him.

His new computer to keep him occupied during school!

Blowing out the candles on his snake cake pop! His cake crumbled, so we smashed it all up and did cake balls, but made his in the shape of a snake.

HIs little goodie bags. We had a jungle party...since I didn't share any pictures of our fun jungle games! Although I did show ya the invite last week.

This week I hosted preschool at my house and the theme was on colors. Most of the kids are barely three years old so I kept it pretty basic and only focused on a few colors.

I covered the table with butcher paper and let the kids play with chalk. They LOVEd that!

We made little color books out of paper bags. I cut and pasted so that the bag looked like a book, but the tops of the pages opened for pockets and we found thigns with that particular color to put in the pocket.

He is holding it crooked, it really just has the pockets on the top.

I think my favorite activit was this next one. We got fruit loops and the kids divided up the colors. We put them in sandwhich baggies and then crushed them all up!

Then I just swirled some elmers glue on white cardstock and they got to sprinkle their crushed fruitloops all over. They really turned out super cute!
