Trunk-or-Treat!! (and a homeschool cooking activity)

A couple weeks ago our theme for school was cooking. I found a great website that had cooking lessons you could follow. There were many different levels and at least 12 lessons in each level. For example one lesson might be on stirring, then it would have 2-3 recipes that you could make that the kids could practice stirring.

Even though we are past the cooking segment I figured we could continue on the cooking lessons. The one this particular day was peeling and one of the recipes was hard boiled eggs. So we made egg boats! The kids did a great job peeling, and suprisinly they liked the eggs! Even Maliyah





Friday night was the ward Halloween party and trunk-or-treat. This year the primary was in charge of the trunk-or-treat, car decorating, and cosutme parade. For something so simple as kids walking around the gym in their costumes, it was pretty fun! Jayden totally loved it and was flying around the gym like everybody was there to see him!



It was a beautiful warm night which was totally unexpected as the weather had been cold.






It was a fun night, late night, and I was pooped by the end!
