Halloween (well close enough anyway)

Since Halloween was on a Sunday this year we chose to do most of the celebrating on Saturday. WE had been invited to a party that day anyway and honestly did I really want to extend a fourth day of dressing up and more candy? NO! Not to mention I had more sabbath worthy activities in mind that turned out really well.

At the party we went to, I had Duck set up a little picture taking spot in her front yard. I took pictures of my friends boys, then our kids, but then it was just a great spot for pics during the party too!

Maliyah was all about being a glam witch, not a scary witch.

As a ghost I suggested Ky paint his whole face white....he kinda freaked out about that, so white cheeks it was!

Jayden on the other hand LOVED being the scary bat!

Duck had a temple trip with the youth that day, so I had to get at least one picture to document he was really there for a bit!

Kimberly had foods dipped in chocolate for the kids to taste...pickles, onions, cheese...it was pretty funny!

Jayden concentrating REALLY hard on his pumpkin craft.

When I got home with the kids we made home made pizza for dinner. They did really good rolling out their own dough and pretty much Maliyah and Ky made their pizza's all on their own!

They gave the pizza a thumbs up!

or fingers up!

Once the little ones were in bed and Duck was home we were waiting for our pay per view to start (which didn't even work and we eneded up going to red box anyway!~ Grrr)....but in the mean time we played some fun games. Candy corn toss....other candy games, apple bobbing and candy corn bobbing! (and candy corns don't float!)

Getting the candy corn was harder (and wetter) than we thought it would be!

We ended up watching How To Train a Dragon. By the time we got it, it was pretty late so Maliyah didn't even make it through the movie, but I think the kids had a fun day!
