spotlight Craft

This is the Christ Plaque that we made for our Primary spotlight for next year. The theme is all about the Savior so we thought this picture would be great! We got about 62 of them made.
FYI: Just made on 1/4 inch MDF from Home Depot cut to 3.5 x 5.5. the pictures are pass-along cards with the white edge trimmed off. Painted black. Sanded the edge. Drilled holes (multiple boards at a time). Mod Podged the picture on. And last added ribbon for the girls and hemp for the boys.

Those are so cute...I came searching after seeing your comment on Sugardoodle with the 2x4 blocks.(We are just giving out 5x7 pictures of the Savior that the kids get to choose from several options. Boring...but easy!) However, I may have to make something like that for my own kids when they choose their birthday picture. Thanks for sharing!

I also came looking for your picture after reading your comment on Sugardoodle. I love the look of yours, but like the idea of the 2x4 blocks. I'll probably combine the two ideas by painting the blocks black and adding a ribbon on the top. Thanks for sharing your great idea.
