Payton's Birthday Party 7-4-09

After taking quick naps at home, we had a birthday party go to at 2:00. It was for the son of our good friends Kimberly and Joey and Payton was turning 3! It was a water gun party, although that wasn't just it! They had all kinds of fun activities going on all over the yard to keep the kids entertained for hours, and I MEAN hours! WE got there about 2:00 and I think the kids kept playing outside until 7:30!! WE even came in for a bit to change and clean up and then the kids went back outside for more!

The best I think for all the kids was the fun water play area with slide and pool and everything! It was quite the set up and the kids, especially my maniac Jayden, had an absolute blast with it!

Jayden really tried hard to get up this impossible climb up to the slide, but it was...well....Impossible! So Duck intervened.

Yes, he did LIterally THROW Jayden up to the top of the slide. Over, and OVer and OVER again!

I took a ton of pictures at this party, lots of all the kids, but I didn't want to post the other children's pictures and unfortunately any I got of Kyson were with other kids. So sorry Ky!

Although it was a 'water gun' party, Payton specifically requested that he have this cake at his party. How appropriate! His Grandma did a fabulous job making it and it was too cute when later his Grandma was leaving and this swee 3 year old remembered to thank Grandma for making his cake! Good job Tony!

Duck and his guy friends were all having a good time that when they asked us to stay for fireworks we decided to. I didn't get any pictures during the fireworks...my camera was dying, plus the night shots never look any good anyway, and we got a million from the rest of the day...so did I really need more!

After the exciting firework show at the Price's home, Maliyah and Ky remembered we had said we could go see "big" fireworks, so despite Jayden begging to go nigh night, we found a great spot to watch the city fireworks from our car.

Thanks Kimberly and Joey for being such fabulous 4th of July and Birthday Hosts! WE had a great time.
