Christmas weekend at Duckworths 12-26-08

After leaving my parents house we headed up to spend the weekend with the Duckworths. Maliyah loves her Grandma Duck and was super excited to be there. The first activity we did of course was go swimming with Grandpa. He loves the pool and so do the kids. And I love it when I have a suit that fits….but golly that only happens once in a blue moon! Anyway they had a good time. I was awful and didn’t take many pictures of that weekend at all. Saturday us girls went shopping, the kids played with their wonderful new presents from Gma and Gpa Duck and their uncles, and then Sunday we got to go to the Duckworth Family Christmas Dinner. That was really fun to see everybody who we never see! There was a good crowd and it was a fun evening! Thanks Duckworths!




Maliyah used her cousin Maddie's life vest and swam the whole time on her own. She is soooo ready for swimming lessons it's not even funny. Maliyah also Jumped into the pool on her own for her first time! They love jumping in to Duck and he convinced her she could do it. Most of the time she doesn't like her face or head to be under water, but she over came her fear and was awesome.

Jade is a little fish as well and not afraid of the water at all! It's scary! I think he would jump in too if we let him!
