Playdates for Spring Break

Our big highlight this week for the kids spring break was having playdates. Maliyah's day was first. We had a sewing lesson in the morning (we will start doing these bi-monthly) and then during quite time she had her friends Ashlyn and Morgan over for a little service project. They made cards and cake balls to deliver to friends and family.

I let them make the cake completely all on their own. They did a great job!

Added benefits to baking

I didn't take a lot of pictures but at the end the girls got a hold of the camera and took pictures of themselves.

Delicious cake pops!

Friday was the boys day (ironic though that the first picture is of Maliyah). Kyson had a friend over and Jayden had two friends over. Kyson and his friend made a craft. Telescopes! It was all Ky's idea and design. A paper towel roll that they decorated then we hot glued cut skewers to the bottom to make legs for them to stand on. Then we put plastic planets and stars on the wall for them to look at. SO glad they have such a great imagination and loved it so much!

The little boys just had a blast playing with the bucket of cars and they got really creative with the games they would play with them!

Two of the friends (brothers), brought their two pet frogs! We emptied the car bucket and put the frogs in it so all the kids could get a good look at them! I think that was the highlight of their playdate!

Davis was totally enthralled and thought they were the coolest thing ever! Okay, so did my kids! They never get to see something so cool...their mom is too lame!
