Happy Fourth of July

I had a hard time planning our fourth this year since it was on Sunday! Everything here was still planned for the actual fourth, so our typical activities we participate in (parade, farmers market, street fair..etc) were NOT options. So we just planned some fun family things for Saturday. I made Star Shape pancakes for breakfast, we took a bike ride downtown and a picnic. Then we headed up to Ashland to play at the splash pad out there at Garfield park. It was a fun day, perfect weather and ended with good friends at good food! Today we were going to have some friends over for Dinner, but Jayden ended up getting a fever during the night so that didn't fly. Hope you all had a fantastic Fourth of July.



The last two years I have done face painting for Maliyah and this time they all wanted it.



At first Kyson was really scared and was afraid people would see him !( duh) but then when we saw it he thought it was SO cool!
