Happy Birthday Grandpa Duck! (how old are you again? ; ) )

Saturday the 27th we went to Salt Lake to meet up with the Duckworths and Celebrate Grandpa Ducks Birthday at REd Lobster. It was a little rough getting there as Jayden was plagued with food poisoning that 6 out of 7 of us got that weekend, but we made it and all had a great time.













The kids loved picking out some little presents for Grandpa and when it came time to open them Kyson insisted on helping!



Grandma wasn't too thrilled at Maliyah's gift for Grandpa. Silly String!



The next week we went to visit Duckworths again and got to play with grandpas presents. It was a blast and the kids are already asking when it's grandpas birthday again so that we can play with Silly string and parachute men!

Sunday the 28th my family had a "suprise" stake conference that had been called the week before. The presiding general authority was L Tom Perry! It was an amazing meeting and it was really neat to explain to Maliyah about this Apostle and what a rare and neat thing it was to be in that meeting. The greatest of all was when Maliyah got to meet him and shake his hand! She is still talking about it!
