Maliyah's Birthday

We celebrated Maliyah's birthday this year with a horse party on Saturday the 21st. Things didn't go exactly as planned, but the girls had a good time and most of all Maliyah loved it!

Set up for horse-opoly. Luckily we had the barn from Jades birthday.



The spinner we made for the game. More picture later, but the girls each had a stick horse and a horse tail (made from a mop from the $ store!). The girls were the playing pieces and of course first to the barn won!

We had planned on going out for Pizza and last minute decided to come to the house, but we still stuck with PIzza, then Carrots and Apples, then troughs for the girls to drink out of.


We actually started the party out to ride a horse....that didn't really work out but the kids had fun petting and feeding it the apples from off their apple tree!










Since we were going to be out in the freezing cold each girl got their own pink beenie.

Horsey Cake! We had already had a horse birthday before and I didn't want to make a horse shape cake again, so this one we did a little different and were finally able to put some of those horse toys to use!





Maliyah really is growing up fast, loving kindergarten and learning so much. Sometimes I wonder if she is learning a little TOO much! She is such a joy to have as a daughter and I love her to death!
