T-ball

This week Kyson started his first season of T-ball! Or baseball becuase he insists it's NOT T-BALL! Anyway he had his first practice on WEd which was hilarious. 7 - 4 year olds with coaches that obviously don't know much about working with 4 year olds, and some little boys that really could care less to be there and were more interested in picking the dandelions in the field than paying attention to where they were supposed to run next! REally and truly entertaining! Although had they not improved much in the methods of teaching at the next practice it might not have been so humorous. (considering we are paying for this!) Friday was his second practice and like I said it was much better. The coaches actually went over a little more basic skills (like what are bases, what are they called and where do you run to them!?). And Kyson had more fun as well. The first practice he was so whiney we actually ended up taking him home early...he promised friday he would be good so he could stay and he did awesome!

Saturday morning was the first game. It too was pretty entertaining. Much like the first practice...lots they still don't know, impatient 4 year olds, and lots of bored let's go find dandelions in the field to pick kids. I think Kyson had fun though and that's all I care about! I hope in the end we feel it was worth the investment, and I'm sure it will be....I just want him to really enjoy himself! Hopefully also make some friends in the process.
