When we got back from Medford it had warmed up a tiny bit so we thought we would let the kids try it at the lake. Figuring they would just stick their feet in, be freezing and then be satisfied with throwing rocks. NOpe. Jade was in the water faster than I could take off his shirt! Maliyah spent a lot of time 'trying' to build a sand castle, and Ky would get in just over his knees, but didn't want to get more wet than that. Although he did fall once, was so cold I didn't think he would go back in, but he did!
More about camping that's not in a picture
*fabulous foil dinners, chili dogs, corn on the cob, smores, and plenty of junk food!
*Attempting a boat ride
*ditching the boat ride because it was soooo cold!
*playing in the lodge arcade instead of the boat ride!
*Enjoying time together, playing games, and sitting by the roaring fires that Duck kept going!
I'm so glad we were able to spend this time together this weekend. Maliyah always asks if we can do activities as a family and I'm SO glad she likes spending time with us. I hope that doesn't ever change (although I'm prepared for it to).
