Preston Idaho, here we come! 4-25-09

Saturday we enjoyed our morning with gma and gpa but had to leave shortly as we were driving up to Preston Idaho that afternoon. Yes, another long weekend of traveling!

The kids napped on our drive, we dropped off Jayden with my mom in Layton, quickly let Ky and Maliyah have a horse ride at some nearby stables that were having their grand opening, and then picked up Austin and Becca, and Janine and Adam and headed off to Preston! And can I just say, as much as we love our babies, it was so nice to leave them behind and have one less thing to worry about!

Ky had a cupcake slathered with Green frosting just before we went to ride the horses.

My brother Jaron and his wife Vanesa live in Preston and recently purchased a house. Jaron teaches many of the music classes at the Jr high and High School in Dayton Id, which is just outside of Preston. Of those classes is the High School band and that evening they were hosting a fundraiser dinner and dance. Going to see their new house, where they live were part of the visit, but mostly to support Jaron and his band. Their house was beatuful, their baby Jacob who I haven’t seein in months was just too cute for words and his wife Vanesa looked fabulous! The Dance though was definitely the highlight….the kids LOVED it! We had a fabulous Spaghetti dinner, but then the band played the music for the dance. It was really so much fun, a wonderful night and we were really proud of Jaron and what he managed to pull off! There was a great turn out and apparently they were successful because the band was able to go on their trip and have a good time!

Maliyah and Adam are definitely the silliest together!

Me, Ky and Neenie (Janine)

Becca, Adam, Maliyah and Austin

All of us, well minus Becca who was taking the picture.

Ky and silly Aunt Neenie!

Dancing to the swingin' 50's music played by the band.

Below is Jaron probably taking a bite of his dinner while playing the keyboard.
