Tea Party 3-21-09

Yesterday Maliyah and I had a full morning! I have had scheduled to do Jewelry at a little girls birthday party for months now, and the night before we got an inviataion in the mail to another party for the same day! (We were the slackers and hadn't checked the mail in days!) Luckily they were both in the same neighborhood, one ended right as the other one started, and maliyah was invited to the one I was working at so I could just take her from one to the next!

The first party was for our little friend Maddie. She is the daughter of one of Ducks employees, but also I watched her full time for awhile last year and her and Maliyah became good friends through that. It was a tea party and Maliyah was all dressed up. I didn't get a picture of her with her cute little red pea coat and white gloves, but we did her hair up all fancy and she got to wear a dress. She totally had fun, but really loved the little mini tea set that they got to use. I was also impressed she didn't get one drop of her grape juice on her clothes!

The next party was really fun as well and I especially wanted to get pictures as it was my first little girlz party to do jewelry at besides for Maliyah, but my batteries died! I'll see if I can steal some pictures from the mom of the party girl! It went really well though and I think the girls had a good time. They each got to make a necklace, I made their choices pretty simple for the sake of time and they all really made some pretty necklaces. I have so say though my favorite was the one the birthday girl made with bright green crystals and turqoise cat eyes. The two colors were so springy and bright and too cute together! They also got to make home made pizza and Maliyah had fun playing with all these new friends! Thanks Shannon!
