Well we had some exciting adventures this week here in Klamath Falls! Well first of all duh, it was Halloween....and who doesn't love Halloween!? We had fun carving our pumpkins, playing in leaves, learning about fall and trick or treating. Most of which you can read in the following posts. Some things not pictured or mentioned:
I have finally cracked down and created a more organized routine and schedule for Maliyah's school. She isn't five yet, still preschool age, so it's not like she needs to be reading or anything, but I still want to creat that routine. Tuesdays and Thursdays and if we have time we will try to do one more day. Mondays and Fridays are cleaning and laundry days and I try to keep those free from other things so that I actually get the laundry done and put away! Maliyah though has finally mastered the alphabet, saying it and writing it and now we are working on sounds. She was so excited the first day it was so cute! She loved every minute of it! The second day wasn't quite the same as we were getting into more difficult concepts, but she still really soaked it up. I also started doing other forms of learning, art, science and stuff like that. This week we learned about Fall and made Turkeys out of leaves, we talked about Rainbows and the story of Noah, then we learned about Mosaic art and made our own pumpkin pictures. She was very interested in that and had a great time and really did a good job! Hopefully we can keep this up!
Kyson is having fun joining in with us for few minutes of our school, he doesn't last really long, but he loves talking about the letters, shapes, numbers and colors.
Jayden is getting really close to walking. To be honest I'm totally shocked he isn't yet. He crawled way earlier than Maliyah and Kyson, but with his Birthday coming up it looks like it will be close to one just like them. He did take four steps this week, really good steps and I have a video posted below of us trying to get him to do it again. Most baby milestones I don't care for, rolling over, crawling, putting things in their mouth! But walking I love because then they stop crawling and get off that dirty floor!! It grosses me out how dirty he gets, and that his dirty hands end up in his mouth. Yuck. Anyway, I'll stop babbling and let you get with what you want....the pictures! Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
