Girls Special Time 3-1-09

The first Sunday Janine was here, Maliyah was going around beggin me to paint her finger nails. Sunday mornings are always crazy, but I didn’t have a meeting that morning and figured that we might have time. Still though I told her that we could after we were all ready for church if we had time.

Well of course her next step was to ask daddy….he heard the stipulations.

So then she moved on to Aunt neenie! I made sure Janine was informed as well. Maliyah wasn’t very happy about that answer, but took it okay. Unfortunately time got away with us and we didn’t end up having time to paint finger nails, but when I apologized but told her we could do it that evening, this was her suggestion:

“Maybe tonight you and me and Aunt Neenie could all have a special night and paint our nails together and then Daddy and the boys could do something special together!”

She was so excited! How do you turn that one down. So what did we do!? Neenie, me and maliyah had a nail painting party….oh, and then Maliyah shared her lip gloss with us too!



Janine and I both noted that it had been probably years since either of us had painted our nails color! (Okay maybe more recent for me cause I know I have done it with Maliyah)
