Jayden's First Birthday! 11-14-08

Yay! My baby is one! I can't believe it and yet....I can because well, a year is passed!

Duck was gone all evening so we met for lunch for a little pizza party. There is a little play area that the kids played on before, during and after lunch. Jayden was totaly being brave and trying to get places he really didn't dare to before!

Duck even tried him on the mechanical horse! He was okay for a minute, but he didn't last. I don't blame him....those things would make me sick!

Playing video games! (ar at least pretending!)

Jade totally got into the opening of the present. We just had one, and after Duck showed him how to tear it, he went at it. As soon as he saw there was something inside, he stop tearing, kept cocking his head to the side and down to see what was in there, then trying to get it out! It was so cute and so funny....I think I might have some of it on Video I'll try to get on here.

Here he is trying to pull the toy out of the box....of course impossible because of their military strength ties they use to keep the toys in place!

I made a cute little cake just for this lunch and for Jade to dig into. It was probably one of the easiest cakes I have ever made and totally turned out cute. It was perfect too because we just took the top layer off for Jade then we shared the lower.
