Happy 5th Birthday Maliyah 11-23-08

Today was Maliyah's actual birthday which she had been looking forward to ever since her Princess Party. Because today meant more presents! WE wanted to wait until the actual day to open ones from family. The idea was to open them when Duck got into town, but I mis-understood his arrival time and it wasn't really going to be until the kids were in bed. Maliyah really wanted Daddy to be here for that part, so she said she would open one present and then the rest later with Daddy. i thought that was a very grown up answer in stead of throwing a fit!

Grandma Duck called to wish Maliyah a happy birthday and while on the phone we decided to open her present. ONe of the things she sent was a princess tea set. I had made two cupcakes for the kids, so we sang happy birthday, blew out the candle, and had cupcakes and milk with her new tea set. They loved it and I think drank more milk than I have ever seen!






Although Maiyah's cupcake looks pink, the frosting was purple, of course her request, with pink sprinkles, then Kysons got blue sprinkles to offset the girly frosting!

Jayden wanted to join in the party and walked into the kitchen with more tea party stuff. He always wants to be doing what the older two are doing! Thank heaven he goes to bed earlier! (just kidding, he is the best baby ever!)
